Willunga Charter App (for our School Run Customers)

Willunga Charter in partnership with BusMinder, have produced an app for our school service families, where they are able to view real-time and historical information for their student(s) travel*. To download the free Willunga Charter App on your device, please head to either the AppStore or Google Play and search “Willunga Charter”.

The Willunga Charter App is the first of its kind in South Australia and is the most advanced passenger tracking and smartcard payment system on the market. Designed with parents and families in mind, you can rest assured with the improved safety and visibility measures on all our school bus services.

No longer do you need to guess if your bus is on-time or has been delayed, you can simply open the app and view its location in real-time. Other features include, receiving boarding and de-boarding notifications for your student(s), viewing their travel history, along with the ability to view route and stop information for our services. Plus, you can submit feedback, lost property requests and pay for your bus passes directly through the app**.

Our app has the added safety benefit for students and families, of directly sending you alerts if your bus has been delayed, or if there are any important service announcements applicable to your route. Simply enable push notifications on your device and select “star” your favourite stop(s)/route(s) to receive important service announcements.

To enable the system to work effectively, it is essential that your student(s) have their bus pass with them each day and tap on and off their bus service. If their card no longer works, or it has been lost, they will need to organise a new one from their School/College.

Please note: *This service is only available for families of subscribing schools. **Where your school enables this feature.
